Los Angeles Times: Rising natural gas prices may show up on electric bills

At last week’s CPUC meeting, SCE confirmed it is seeking an additional 4.4% increase in June this year. The following increases already came into effect on January 1 this year:

• SCE: 7% 

• PG&E 3% 

• SDG&E 16%.

It’s not going to get any better simply relying on the utilities. Commercial solar is the only way to claw back budget that will otherwise continue to be fed to your utility.
