We recently completed the installation of a 220kW rooftop commercial solar system for our friends at Sun Yin Inc in the City of Industry, California.

Sun Yin was one of the last businesses to submit their commercial solar application before the deadline for NEM 2.0 passed, meaning they now get maximum value for the energy they feedback into the grid. This helps give them a three-year payback on their investment.

They qualified for the full 40% investment tax credits, so nearly half of the initial outlay will be recouped in the first year of operation even before we take into account the electricity bill savings, which will be up to around 80% of kWh costs.
